My name is Robert (he/him), but most people call me Rob.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Athens, GA. My clinical work is person-centered, identity-affirming, and culturally responsive that informs how our work together can effectively navigate the systems and relationships in your life. I believe strongly in creating a strong, healthy rapport as it is the most important part of effective therapy.

I will meet you where you are with your story so we can build opportunities for you to approach your story with strength and to make informed choices. Through exploration, we will work towards learning self-affirming ways that you can cope with challenges and become more resilient, self-confident and authentic person.

Change is difficult no matter how young or old we may feel or be. The journey of your change is what I look forward to experiencing with you, no matter how quickly or how long it may take. Together we can try different paths so you can find the one that works in this moment.
