We offer opportunities to use private pay and to use insurance.

Private pay can be a strong option for those that prefer privacy and control over their information. This payment method offers several benefits:

  • First, private pay ensures increased confidentiality since there’s no need to share your information with [[Insurance]] companies.

  • Second, it allows for greater flexibility in treatment plans, as I can tailor sessions to your specific needs without having to adhere to insurance guidelines.

  • Third, there is no insurance paneling process for me to complete which can take months to complete. This allows me to be more available to meet your needs.

  • Finally, private pay enables you to choose to work with me without the restrictions imposed by insurance networks, such as session limits or time limits.

However, private pay also has potential drawbacks:

  • The most significant disadvantage is the out-of-pocket cost, which may be higher than what you’d pay through insurance.

  • Additionally, there may not be a formal reimbursement process, which could be a disadvantage for those seeking reimbursement from their insurance providers.

    • We will provide a Superbill for you if you would like to submit to your insurance for reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits, however, we will not submit it on your behalf.

For insurance, we contract with:

  • BlueCross/Blue Shield or Anthem

  • Cigna

  • Aetna

  • United Healthcare (United Student Health)

We strongly encourage you to check with your individual insurance to ensure that we are in-network.

Sliding fee is available for those that do not have the means to afford our full fee. Documentation will be required to demonstrate need.
