Private Pay
Private pay can be a strong option for those that prefer privacy and control over their information and treatment.
This payment method offers several benefits:
1. It ensures increased confidentiality since there’s no need to share your information with insurance companies or other entities.
2. It allows for greater flexibility in treatment plans, as we can tailor sessions to your specific needs without having to adhere to insurance guidelines that may limit your care.
3. There are no insurance paneling processes for us to complete which can take months to complete. This allows us to be more available to meet your needs.
4. It enables you to choose to work with us without the restrictions imposed by insurance networks, such as session limits or time limits.
However, private pay also has potential drawbacks:
The most significant disadvantage is the out-of-pocket cost, which may be higher than what you’d pay through insurance.
Our base rates are:
For an initial session
$160 for the session
For ongoing sessions
$130 for 53-60 minutes
$100 for 35-45 minutes
For Group Therapy
$50 for 90 minutes
Additionally, there may not be a formal reimbursement process, which could be a disadvantage for those seeking reimbursement from their insurance providers.
We will provide a Superbill for you if you would like to submit to your insurance for reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits, however, we will not submit it on your behalf.
Insurance
For insurance, some of our therapists are contracted with:
BlueCross/Blue Shield or Anthem
Cigna
Aetna
United Healthcare (United Student Health)
This is not an exhaustive list, so please ask if yours is not listed.
We strongly encourage you to check with your individual insurance to ensure that we are in-network.
Sliding Scale Fees
Sliding fee is available for those that do not have the means to afford our full fee.
Documentation will be required to demonstrate need.
